Sean on working with mom & Number the Stars

From an interview with Marilyn Beck & Stacy Jenel Smith:
Sean Astin had so much fun working with his mother, Patty Duke, on the recently wrapped feature, "Amazing Love" that, he says, "I had to force myself not to smile too much during the big dialogue scene we had."
Sean also discussed the progress being made in raising funds to film "Number the Stars," the Newbery award winning book by Lois Lowry.
"For most independent filmmakers, what we have would be a fortune. But based on how we designed the movie, we're not quite there yet. We've spent a lot of money and a lot of time building our movie, and it's going to be worth it."

  1. I have long nourished the secret dream of one day Sean, Mack and their mother all doing a movie together. For example, 2 adults son dealing with the aging issues of their mother. *dream*

    GREAT news about "Number the Stars"!! I am most excited about that project.
