Sean Astin threw out the first pitch at the LA Dodgers v St Louis Cardinals baseball game last night as part of a promotion for the upcoming Nickelodeon animated series "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." According to a
tweet by Sean, the pitch was clocked at 68 mph with an altitude of 14 feet! Temporary umpire brother Mackenzie Astin called the pitch "a high strike." ;-)

Coincidentally, at nearly the exact same time, the
Nissan Heisman House "Rudy" commercial featuring Sean and Heisman winner Tim Brown was airing before the Notre Dame v Michigan State game.
With the boost from Sean/Rudy, both the Dodgers (4-3) and Notre Dame (20-3) won!
