Sean Astin to star in "The Call"

Update: The name of the movie has been changed to "The Dramatics."

According to Variety, Sean Astin will be featured in the independently produced movie, "The Call."
Independent production company Vanishing Angle is set to produce its first feature film "The Call," a dramedy that will mark the feature directorial debut of Upright Citizens Brigade and Funny or Die alum Scott Rodgers, who wrote the script with co-star Kat Foster.
In addition to Rogers and Foster, ensemble cast also includes Rosemarie DeWitt, Sean Astin, Thomas Sadoski ("The Newsroom"), Timm Sharp ("Enlightened"), Pablo Schreiber ("Orange Is the New Black"), Riki Lindhome ("Hell Baby") and Paul F. Tompkins ("Best Week Ever").
Foster stars as an actress who lands the role of a lifetime opposite an Oscar-winning playboy (Schreiber) in a risqué mini-series. Her dream job becomes her boyfriend's (Rodgers) worst nightmare and threatens to destroy their fragile relationship in the three short days until she leaves to start filming.
